Bev Bergeron was in an incredibly unique period in history. And like most unique periods in history, was very short lived, and success relied on being in the right place at the right time. If luck favors the prepared, he was ready.

In the space of just a few years he went from working one of the last great touring magic companies that performed under canvas, to the first network television magic show, “Mark Wilson’s Magic Land of Allakazam” on Saturdays mornings on ABC and later CBS. He was Rebo the Silent Television Clown.

He ended up becoming a world-famous magician in his own right, with numerous awards including the Lifetime Achievement Fellowship Award given by the Academy of Magic Arts and Sciences in Hollywood, California. He also was elected to the Society of American Magicians Hall of Fame in 1992, and was elected as President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians in 1996. He performed 5 shows a day at Walt Disney World Diamond Horseshoe Review for 15 years… making him a sort of Iron man in the world of stage magic.
